Yasser has a background in product development and design. He began his career in product management at Qualcomm in the Qchat group developing a new category of products based on Qualcomm's core Push-to-Talk technology. After Qualcomm, he earned his Master's degree from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) where he focused on HCI, interface design, and building modern mobile & web experiences. Post-ITP, he founded Project Noah, an award-winning educational technology company and joint venture with National Geographic.
In 2015, he founded Specialist Design to help leading companies transform big ideas into focused products. Previous clients include Google, Pinterest, Robinhood, startups in Y Combinator and Techstars, and leading creative agencies Wieden+Kennedy and Droga5. He is adjunct faculty at NYU's ITP, a mentor at NYU's Entrepreneurial Institute, a founding member of [email protected]
